SEARCH GORILLA Google has released a software development kit (SDK) for its Android 2.0 smartphone operating system.

The SDK offers developers access to the enhanced graphics and other added features of Android 2.0, including a learning dictionary and an emulator to let developers test applications before new releases.

Features added in Android 2.0 also include more HTML 5 support, Bluetooth 2.1, a zoom function for digital cameras and multitouch controls. In addition, Android 2.0 will also offer full support for the Vole's Exchange email application as well as multiple email account synchronisation.

In a blog post, Android SDK tech lead Xavier Ducrohet said that Android 2.0 will see one more minor version update this year.
