Prodata is a traditional company with solid structure, good revenue and long-term employees. They approached us to make the necessary changes to compete with fast moving global competitors popping up everywhere.
Survival is a mighty motivator, but Prodata acted before crisis actually happened. Prodata was not quite under siege from global competition yet, but their CEO foresaw the future and took necessary steps to strengthen his company to compete with global competition. The client was looking for an organization that could add true value while also being a trusted partner.
Prodata is a mid-size software development company. Prodata initially hired a team of 6 programmers and one project manager. For them VTL is more like a subsidiary without actually worrying about managing one. Every day they communicate primarily with project manager, go over the last day changes and discuss current day’s development plan. Only four of them are working on development of their new product and the rest of the two programmers do custom development, bug support for existing customer base.
Prodata is now ready to compete with global competition on any price level. Access to highly experienced and cost effective developers give them edge over other domestic and global competition. Prodata is planning to hire another team to start creating a new product to penetrate new markets. An offshore office gives Prodata a leverage to throw more minds at same job and get it done faster and more efficiently.
