Client for this application is a software company based in US. They provide wide range of services - application development and ecommerce to wireless development. They wanted a solution of its kind which can provide all the features of an online ecommerce business at low cost.

Client Requirements:
Our client wanted an e- commerce software with desktop application features, which can be operated by any one with no programming or designing skills. Solution should also provide search engine management, automated site creation and a secured payment gateway etc.

Our Solution:
Scope of this project was more laid towards development of web based application that will contain features of a desktop application and which that can be used to create and manage site without any programming or technical knowledge . VTL designed system which can run on web-form and can be run with remote servers. Web services were used extensively for that. Some of the important features are :

• Automated website creation and support for multiple websites
• Drag and Drop feature to accommodate asp.net controls in webpage and set properties like a desktop application.
• Customization support for each and every page of a site, e.g. paging, Rss feeds to enhance its search engine rankings.

System developed allowed client to get customers to subscribe and use system without any technical knowledge. Customers can now create new pages and manage content / controls in few seconds. Also, sites can be hosted at different location and can use web services to communicate with database.

Statistics :
Backend : 8 databases, total 300 tables and 700 stored procedures

Front end : 522 aspx pages, 120 ascx controls, 450 classes, 22 webservices and 12 windows services
