Connecting with publicly accessible kiosks that allow applications to be completed online.
Gross-referencing with an internal library to identify acronyms and abbreviations commonly used by applicants.
Because volume and specialization usually provide cost savings, outsourcing the entry of resume data has grown into a new niche in the recruiting industry. The spread of the Internet - along with improved scanners and scanning software, more powerful personal computers, and faster data lines - provides more incentive for outsourcing.

Year-end update and contract win- VTL, the outsourcing and technology company, announces in its regular year-end update, that trading performance for the twelve months to 30 April 2006 is in line with management expectations.
IRez Systems, a leading provider of ERP solutions, has renewed its partnership with VTL software product maintenance. The two year renewal builds upon the existing partnership under which VTL manages IRez Systems 's product maintenance services via an Offshore Development Centre at its facilities in Delhi.
