Why many employees leave your company for some other company after having received a great deal of training from you, and after you have too heavily invested in them through various ways?
It has become too a common - even though quite a disturbing - phenomenon the world over to find many employees - at times, all of a sudden - without any apparent reason walk out of jobs only to later work for some other company/employer that, of course, offers them a better pay package, job satisfaction, and, perhaps, a better work atmosphere also. Often in such scenarios, the first employer(s) become shocked, and they get saddled with the unwanted burden of hiring new employees and training and investing in them only to later painfully (in certain cases, once again) find such a thing take place. Why many employees leave jobs, and start working for new companies/employers? There are many reasons behind this growing world wide trend. The most important from such dissatisfied employees' perspective could be: dissatisfaction, lack of appreciation, lack or complete absence of recognition, nil inspiration, and last but not least, no or inadequate compensation, even though all these factors may reflect the insincerity and utter greed of an employee. In today's highly competitive and ambitious world, people - especially the employees - have indeed become over demanding, and they are not ready to compromise and settle for supposedly the second best.
And in an age where money and incentives of various sorts have become too important, if an employee finds he is not getting his (rightful ?) dues for the hard work and time that he may believe he is putting, he is likely to become dissatisfied over a period of time. And, this dissatisfaction could eventually goad him to leave his employers for greener pastures. Lack of so-called appreciation from employers could also play too an important role in making him dissatisfied and take such an extreme, even though unjustified step. Then, of course, the so-called recognition, inspiration and compensation factors are also there. It is too well known that a dissatisfied employee is an unhappy employee, and an unhappy employee makes customer dissatisfied over a period of time. So, appreciating your employee's (at times even mediocre and/or substandard) work through various ways, and inspiring them to give their very best could, to some extent, keep your employees loyal to your organization/company. Besides, compensations through various ways could also and do keep employees, on the whole, happy and content, as it makes them think that employers are concerned with their welfare and happiness. The morale of the story: to retain employees, it is imperative that one treats them as one's biggest assets. Giving one's employees their dues and treating them as valuable and important resources could prove to be the keys to retaining employees and winning their full trust and cooperation towards a company's cause.
However, if despite giving many incentives and increments from time to time and creating a good work environment some employees leave, then in such a scenario the highly popular employee leasing option could prove to be an ideal situation to get out of the messy situation. Yes, employee leasing options such as offshore employee leasing provided by established names in the field such as Virtual technology Leasing provide excellent options to such employers who suffer due to their employees' disloyalties and/or who wish to cut unnecessary costs related to employee payroll and taxes, employee insurance and benefit costs, HR overhead costs, employee liability/HR headaches, etc.
